Bebear is just one of those dogs that when you meet him for the first time, you know he is special. Bebear was imported from the Contes d'Hoffmann kennel in France in 2009 and has been a very important addition to the Loucyn breeding program. Bebear was used by some top Malinois breeders in France and Belgium (most liking his pups so much they used him again!) and we clearly see why. Bebear is an very strong and resiliant dog with incredible character and drive. His grips are full, hard and calm. He has excellent hunt drive. His size and power are rare in the breed these days and he is a dog that doesn't understand the word 'quit'. He loves his handler and loves to work. Even though Bebear is an extreme dog when working, he settles down well and has excellent stability and nerves.
We are very lucky to have acquired a dog of Bebear's caliber and have gotten superb puppies from him so far. He is a proven stud and puppies tend to be tough and driven while retaining nice trainability and work ethic. They can take time to mature fully but are well worth the wait when they do!
Bebear was retired in 2006 due to a permanent leg injury that occurred during training.
