The Chenil de Loucyn Malinois breeding program is primarily based on old Belgian bloodlines that have been proven to strongly pass on the desired genetic qualities we look for in today's Malinois dogs including excellent gripping behavior, strong character, high drives and trainability, good aggression and nerve, athleticism, power and great health.

October 2011 - Fifa du Chenil de Loucyn and Josh Lininger earn their Sch BH!
E'Mamba du Chenil de Loucyn (Momo/Daizi) earns her Sch BH with Sondra Rolison! Congrats with that CRAZY girl!
September 2011 - 'Doc' (Fat Louie/Brassai) gets his FR CSAU with his owner Erin Sugget, on to Brevet now guys!
August 2011- Bichinho goes to her first two AKC conformation shows and comes home with BOB both times.
June 2011 - Big Congrats to Marcus Ellison and Emilio du Chenil de Loucyn (Momo X Daizi) on their Mondioring Brevet at the Oxnard Mondioring Trial! This is Marcus' first ring dog and we hope to see more from this team in the near future!
Enzi du Chenil de Loucyn is proving herself an excellent detection dog with the California Dept of Corrections. She has many successful finds already including tobacco, marijuana, meth, heroin and numerous cell phones.
May 2011 - Kim and Breeze are on a roll! Breeze got her CD on 5/8. She had a HIT on her first leg last month, and today ran in two trials, got two legs and two HITs! Three legs, all High in Trial!!! You two are stars!
April 2011 - Kim and Breeze make headlines again! Breeze takes home HIGH IN TRIAL at her first CKC Obedience competition with a 199/200! Congrats and go kick some more butt!
March 2011 - 'Breeze' and Kim Cooper are traveling to Central America to assist a new international Search and Rescue organization. Only 9 dog/handler teams were invited, 8 teams are from the US while Breeze and Kim were the only Canadian team to be invited. Also, Breeze and Kim will be traveling to Costa Rica for some intense jungle S&R training!
February 2011 - 'Snappy' du Chenil de Loucyn and Enzi du Chenil de Loucyn leave for the California Dept of Corrections detection program. Both dogs will be going through extensive training to work in the Southern California prison system detecting illegal drugs and contraband. Good luck to both of them!
D'Viking du Chenil de Loucyn is kicking butt with the California Dept of Corrections. He has become a star detection dog in his short time with the CDC so far.

Momo does it again! This time he got to battle it out with Hollywood celebrity Charlie Sheen for a video shoot. It was business as usual for Momo, he worked flawlessly with numerous people and cameras in his face while doing take after take at the actor's Beverly Hills Estate.
Osama Bin Laden is dead and it was none other than the Belgian Malinois that helped bring him down!
Due to the Osama Bin Laden raid, the Belgian Malinois has been put in the spotlight. The United States Navy SEALS use Belgian Malinois for good reason and it's nice to see the breed getting the credit it deserves.

K-9 Enzi (Momo x Daizi) and her partner are working hard to keep our public safe! Below are some of their recent finds working with the California Dept of Corrections. Illegal drugs, tobacco and cell phones are constantly being smuggled into the prison system and it's K-9 Enzi's job to find them!
